Most IDM listeners will quickly pick up on the fact that exm's work is heavily influenced by Autechre. However, whereas the latter duo is well off in space by this point in their career, exm still has at least one foot firmly planted on our Earth-- he still makes music like an actual human being, that is. This is a beautiful album, with penultimate cut "Meltt" stealing the show.
